Any result can be sent to VidsHero's video generator, which turns it into a narrated, captioned video.
Fresh funny premises. Each run writes 50 story premises, each with a title and a hook, aimed at "funny story ideas" rather than a generic template — add a detail about your audience, style or format to steer it.
The output is plain text you can copy anywhere. When one result stands out, send it to VidsHero's video generator: it becomes a script split into scenes, each illustrated and narrated, with captions and music, ready for Shorts, TikTok or Reels.

FAQ
Common questions
Is the Funny Story Ideas generator free?
Yes. You get 5 free generations a day without an account and 20 a day with a free VidsHero account. No card is needed.
Are these story ideas original?
They are generated fresh each time rather than copied from a list, so you will not see the same premise twice. As with any idea, check that a finished story does not closely follow an existing work.
Can I use the results commercially?
Yes. The text is yours to use, edit and publish, including on monetized channels.
Can I turn the result into a video?
Yes. Press "Make a video from this" and VidsHero opens with it filled in. AI writes the scenes, illustrates them, adds a natural voiceover, captions and music. A free account includes 10 credits.
What is VidsHero?
VidsHero is an AI video generator. It turns a topic, script or article into a finished video — script, scene images, natural voiceover, animated captions and music — for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Reels and long-form YouTube.
